Are the Recruit Rumors Real? Is The Sharp Bunch Really 3?

Rumor has it that the Sharp Bunch is going from 2 to 3.
In case you missed it here is what was circulating on April 1st, 2014.

Thanks to a very well timed brother comment on Facebook (or some may say ill timed:)) and just the fact that it happened to be April Fools some were weary of the news... We can proudly and excitedly announce 2 days AFTER April Fools......

THE NEWS IS INFACT TRUE!

Now I know there has been past controversy and silliness of announcing "fake" pregnancies on facebook, and if our announcement timing bothered anyone we apologize. We happened to move into the second trimester almost exactly to the day and it was just so like this baby's daddy to post on such a funny day so we took advantage of that and Josh had a lot fun with it.

We had been hoping for a little one to join our family soon but, were weary of basketball season so we are thrilled our baby will be here before Josh starts his senior year of basketball. I want to document this pregnancy the best I can and a Journal and this Blog is the best way so this is a good outlet for us; but feel free to follow along through our baby journey! We have already appreciated the love and support we have received from friends and family so, THANK YOU!!!

Here is our little story:

One night in January, I was driving home after watching Josh play (on tv, he was away) I had a feeling I was pregnant and wanted to test but, from a past month experience I had wasted tests and didn't want to do that again. So I decided to wait until that next Monday to test. BUT it was Saturday night and I couldn't buy one on Sunday but I knew I needed to test first thing in the morning Monday so I justified buying a test late Saturday night;) I know I am tricky:)

In the meanwhile Josh is flying home and I can never fall asleep when I know he will be home soon (even though he specifically called and said don't wait up:)) so I got ready for bed climbed in and decided to watch Netflix until he got home. Of course my mind got the best of me and I ran downstairs and had to take the test, I mean I had 2. I could save one until Monday right ;) I immediately set it down with disappointment settling in and I already started to feel guilty knowing I should just wait a couple more days. I look down at the developing test and all of a sudden the 2 pink lines show up! 2 PINK LINES!!! It was the best "that" moment feeling. I cried and screamed and started running around the house trying to figure out how I was going to tell Josh...

It was late and I wanted to tell him in a fun way. I knew he would be off the plane in just 2 hours and I knew I couldn't let him climb in bed without saying SOMETHING! I ran to smiths across the street and gathered a few things and got them ready. ( I will write a post on how we told everyone later). He came home I handed him his little gifts and he thought I was joking. Once it set in Josh was all smiles and immediately called our little one HIM and has been doing so since. So him is natural to us to talk about so it will be funny if he has to switch to HER. Him or Her either way we are thrilled!

We found out very early at like 4 weeks but didn't want to take a picture because of how early it was.
Finally I agreed to take a picture at 8 weeks which is above. Obviously no sign of a bump but we needed to get a starting point though :) You can tell this whole picture thing felt a little awkward to me and we hadn't planned a cute way to document it yet but, we will get better:) I will update our 13 week and 14 week pictures soon!
