Honeymoon #2

Have you ever had one of those weeks where you feel SO BLESSED?! I had one of those this past week. It started back on the 18th and I was BEYOND overwhelmed with school and finals. To be even considered for the nursing program we have to have a 3.87 GPA which means I just can't get b's. With finals and that pressure I was just about to crack (if you ask my husband he will say I DID crack:)) I knew I could pull of A's if I tried REALLY hard and studied ALL DAY, EVERYDAY! When it came down to thursday I felt as ready as I could. I pulled off a 97% on my math final which solidified and A!!! I got a 100 percent on my last chem 1110 test and the final is still being determined. I couldn't believe the scores all turned out like they did, it must have been all the prayers:)

After all the school craziness I was able to just relax by first going to my Dad's sealing to his sweetheart Lisa (who we just ADORE!!) It was beautiful and it was my first time back to see a sealing...we even think it was the same room as Josh and I's! They were so happy and it was so fun to see so much family and friends there to support! We are so lucky!
Josh and I at the SLC temple

My dad after he was SEALED!!!

All three of us in the shape of adidas logo:)
After the sealing and a dinner get together Josh and I headed down to St. George for our Honeymoon #2:) During our engaged phase our bishop gave us alot of GREAT advice but, one thing he told us was go on multiple "honeymoons" in our lifetime together...so here we are on number 2! We stayed at his Grandpa Gary's BEAUTIFUL home and had it all to ourselves, we got to hott tub late at night and star gaze and had plenty of room to relax and hang out together.
This is Josh's pumped road trip face:)

The biggest reason for going was to welcome home his cousin Brian from his mission and to his see family, we are so lucky to have such an AMAZING family and the time we got to spend with them I am especially lucky to have married into that family!
Welcome home Brian!

Although we were with Josh's family we got to see my cute cousin Kenna and meet her new fiance` Greg!
Josh and I visiting St. George Temple
Aunt Cindy recommended the most BEAUTIFUL hike we have ever been on!!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

We had so much fun! and we are so grateful we got to spend time with family......now we want to leave on vacation again!!! But back to normal life, but its not so bad now that it is summer vacation!!!

Laundry and Blogs: June 18,2012

A couple weekends ago my cute husband had basketball camps over the weekend and I was left home on a Friday night by myself, after the failed attempt to entertain myself I texted my aunt Maggie and asked her, "What do married women do on weekends without their husbands?" She replied whatever you do don't eat out of boredom. I dropped my Pb&J and decided to run. Then with time still left over I decided to do laundry....I was doing laundry on a Friday night....alone:) So after a couple weeks I noticed all my married friends had blogs so I realized married women keep blogs and do laundry!
First things first, cram post:
We had an awesome weekend everything seems better with Josh and this week and weekend was NO exception!
-Josh hit his 1 year mark back from his mission on June 14...CRAZY. And he finished this semester strong after 1 whole year straight of school so we HAD to celebrate by going to his favorite restaurant(one of the many) Red Robin. It was my first experience as far as I can remember and I was impressed.
-We ran into my aunt and uncle from Arizona RANDOMLY on the side of the road and got milkshakes at Sammy's, SO FUN!
-We got to go to the Cedar Hills Fireworks together which always "sparks" old memories for us
-We got to spend Fathers day with our awesome Dads and Grandpas. And got to catch up with cousins

I am so grateful for a chance to relax before the week gets crazy with finals, I definitely can't wait to be done!
3 more school days!
